The Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution is an administrative authority attached to the Banque de France responsible for
carrying out the supervision of the banking and insurance sector in France. The Prudential supervision consists in the monitoring the financial soundness of institutions, in particular
their capital base, liquidity and risk management arrangements in accordance with the regulations in force. Resolution consists in the implementation of crisis prevention and resolution measures as alternatives to liquidation, in the fields of banking and insurance.
