Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced eDiscovery Specialist to join our team. As an eDiscovery Specialist at Cyber-Forensics.co, you will be responsible for managing electronic discovery processes, collecting digital evidence, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements for investigations and litigation.

Responsibilities:

  1. eDiscovery Process Management:
    • Oversee the end-to-end eDiscovery process, including data preservation, collection, processing, review, and production.
    • Develop and execute eDiscovery project plans and timelines.
  2. Data Collection:
    • Identify and collect electronically stored information (ESI) from various sources, including servers, email accounts, databases, and digital devices.
    • Ensure the preservation and integrity of collected data.
  3. Data Processing:
    • Process and prepare collected data for review and analysis, including data deduplication, filtering, and file conversion.
    • Implement data culling strategies to reduce data volumes.
  4. Legal Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to eDiscovery and digital evidence.
    • Maintain chain of custody documentation.
  5. eDiscovery Tools:
    • Utilize eDiscovery software and tools to facilitate data collection, processing, review, and production.
    • Stay updated on eDiscovery technology advancements.
  6. Document Review Support:
    • Assist legal teams in reviewing and analyzing electronic documents and evidence.
    • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals on case strategies.
  7. Quality Assurance:
    • Perform quality checks and validations on eDiscovery processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of eDiscovery activities.
  8. Reporting:
    • Generate reports and summaries of eDiscovery activities and findings for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Legal Studies, or a related field (Master's degree or eDiscovery certifications preferred).
  • Proven experience as an eDiscovery Specialist, preferably within the cybersecurity or legal sector.
  • Strong knowledge of eDiscovery processes, legal requirements, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in eDiscovery software and tools (e.g., Relativity, Nuix, Concordance).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations is a plus.
