Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Law Enforcement Liaison to join our team. As a Law Enforcement Liaison at Cyber-Forensics.co, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our organization and law enforcement agencies, facilitating cooperation and information sharing in cybercrime investigations.
Responsibilities:
- Law Enforcement Collaboration:
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with local, regional, and national law enforcement agencies and authorities.
- Serve as a liaison between Cyber-Forensics.co and law enforcement in cybercrime cases.
- Information Sharing:
- Coordinate the sharing of cyber threat intelligence, digital evidence, and investigative findings with law enforcement partners.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to data sharing.
- Cybercrime Investigations:
- Assist law enforcement agencies in cybercrime investigations by providing expertise, technical support, and access to digital forensic tools and resources.
- Collaborate with investigators on case strategies.
- Legal Compliance:
- Stay updated on laws, regulations, and procedures related to cybercrime investigations and evidence handling.
- Ensure all activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.
- Training and Education:
- Provide training and education to law enforcement personnel on cybersecurity, digital forensics, and investigative techniques.
- Share insights on emerging cyber threats.
- Emergency Response:
- Support law enforcement agencies in responding to cyber incidents and emergencies.
- Assist in mitigating cyber threats and breaches.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of interactions, investigations, and information sharing with law enforcement.
- Prepare reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred).
- Proven experience in law enforcement liaison roles or cybersecurity investigations.
- In-depth knowledge of cybercrime investigation procedures and digital forensics.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory aspects of cybercrime investigations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
